By Train: The nearest railway station is Furkating Junction, around 75 km from Kaziranga. You can also opt for Guwahati Railway Station, which is well-connected to major cities in India.


By Road: Kaziranga is accessible by road from Guwahati, Tezpur, and Jorhat. You can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach the park.


2. Best Time to Visit:

- The best time to visit Kaziranga is from November to April when the weather is pleasant, and wildlife sightings are frequent. The park remains closed from May to October during the monsoon season.


3. Safari Experience:

- Enjoy thrilling jeep safaris or elephant safaris through the park's dense forests and grasslands. Safaris are conducted in two shifts – morning and afternoon. Booking in advance is recommended, especially during peak seasons.

- Keep your camera ready to capture sightings of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses, tigers, wild elephants, water buffaloes, and various bird species.
